Biography

Abid is a Senior Technology leader with over 20 years’ experience in working on some on the largest technology projects globally with organisations at board level across several sectors including, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Construction, Facility Management Automotive, Manufacturing and Financial Sectors, with leading FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Abid has been significantly involved in the performance of technology projects in Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia, having extensive experience in running major technology functions and managing digital transformation programmes.

Before moving to Industry Abid was a Director and Sector Leader within KPMG’s UK Technology Consulting business, leading global accounts including General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, British American Tobacco and Royal Dutch Shell, advising the board on IT Strategy, Governance Risk & Compliance and Digital Transformation. Utilising technologies including IoT, AI, Digital Twin, Machine Learning and Data Analytics to help transform the operations of the business.
